For starters, sex is fucking amazing!(pun intended), sex can provide us with the experiences of a lifetime, in a good or bad way, in many traditions and cultures, especially on old ones, sex is an important thing, even when it is normal or "common" it is of great importance. And here I draw a point against the trivialization of sex in our times, I surely will come back on this point in another post, but today I want to talk about succubus, specifically the consequences of encountering with them.
Using a succubus because you want to experience sex is a great sign that sex means nothing for you and you are OK to have it with something you probably can't see, can't feel and can't hear, something you have no way to know for sure if is what it claims to be and assume it has a gender that interests you. That alone should be a good questioning point for itself, but the story gets even worse, because you want it easy and you want it now, and guess what? It is perfectly possible and there are plenty of ways to summon a willing succubus whenever and wherever.
Not for free, of course, but those who teach you how to do it also don't tell you what the price is, or maybe they don't even know it! And something that works, is fast, is accessible and can be done by anyone with little to no instruction must have a cost, and a quite high one. Just like most "free" services on the internet the payment tends to be you, specifically something you have and don't care too much loosing if you're misinformed, on the internet it tends to be personal information, on this kind of magic it tends to be energy, mostly sexual energy.
I must say that although succubus are demons (even if the majority of what is summoned nowadays are tulpas or magic servers) they do not feast on your soul, well they actually do it, but do not take it away from you as payment, because contrary to what many people think you cannot live without a soul or any major part of one (and to "take" a soul and use it for anything is fucking HARD and not many entities are interested on it), the reason is that you are not a body with a soul, you are a soul with a body.
It is not in the scope of this text to determine what is a soul made of, but we can assume for now that what I will call "energy" is what its body is made of and powered by.
Succubus, the real demons or the counterfeits having or not a soul or something alike is also not part of today's topic, but is clear that they very much want and usually also need energy to live, and lonely humans with repressed sexual desires are a good source of it, specially if they are willing to pay "whatever it takes" to have vivid sexual wet-dreams or even awake experiences and a good share of attention from something that can easily take form of whatever the subject in question most appreciates.
So, even with that clear, why is it a bad trade? You see, the soul very much likes to have some energy to work with, and without it it will have consequences on your mind, body and perception of reality, your disposition will drastically drop while your addiction to the easy pleasure will only improve, the body will grow satisfied and stop pushing itself forward, making you lazier by the day, you will also believe obvious lies for the sake of being subject to the control of external consciousness, sounds familiar? It should...
I can go on and on listing interminable side-effects and possible consequences, but that won't convince who already has made up their minds (and only they can liberate themselves) and will not further inform those who are willing to seek more information on the subject. I don't want to tell nobody what to and whatnot do, just to tell my personal knowledge on the subject, and even knowing that evocating a succubus is a terrible idea, I do believe that the best way to truly know something is to experience it yourself. You now know how it is like or at least ho some random dude on the internet claims it to be like, please compare it with other random dude's claims and your personal experiences and make up your mind on the subject.
